Tangerine, including Italian tangerine, and bergamot give it a juicy, sunny start. Sichuan pepper adds a tingling, almost electric citrusy spice, and cinnamon brings a sweeter warmth. The heart and base are built on woods: patchouli gives an earthy depth, guaiac wood a smoky, slightly tar-like smoothness, and agarwood a darker, resinous accent.
