Bergamot and tea open it light and slightly dry, the tea giving a gentle green, tannic edge rather than sweetness. The heart is where the flowers arrive: freesia for a clean, peppery brightness, orchid for a soft, slightly creamy exoticism, and jasmine for warmth and body. The base is simple, with May rose adding a fresh, dewy rose and patchouli giving a dry, earthy anchor that stops the bouquet from floating away.
