Still by Jennifer Lopez, composed by Michel Girard and released in 2003, is a women's floral with a quietly unusual opening. Nearly everyone describes it as floral, about a third also find it spicy and gourmand, and green, musky and citrus facets are noticed by a few.

The first minutes are what set it apart: Earl Grey tea gives a bergamot-scented, slightly tannic dryness, rice a soft, starchy, almost milky note, and white pepper a faint tingle, with apple and mandarin orange adding freshness. The heart is a conventional but pretty bouquet of rose, jasmine, honeysuckle, freesia, orange blossom and lily of the valley, clean and bright. The base brings back the pepper alongside iris for a cool powder, musk and sandalwood for softness and amber for a little warmth.

About half of wearers report moderate longevity and a quarter find it long lasting. Sillage is moderate for most and intimate for a quarter. It is voted for spring and summer and worn mostly by day, which suits the office and mild weather rather than evenings.

Still — unisex fragrance by Jennifer Lopez (released 2003). Top notes: Earl Grey Tea, White Pepper, Mandarin Orange, Apple, Rice. Heart notes: Jasmine, Lily-of-the-Valley, Freesia, Honeysuckle, Orange Blossom, Rose. Base notes: Pepper, Musk, Sandalwood, Iris, Amber. — Parfica open fragrance database
