Collection Azur Virée en Mer from the French house Jeanne Arthes, released in 2022, is a sunny, seaside floral for women. Floral is what everyone notices; about half also find it fresh and citrusy, and a minority pick up wood, musk and amber.

Lemon and lemon peel open it zesty and bright, with sea water and sea notes adding a clean, salty, open-air freshness and solar notes a warm, sun-on-skin glow. The heart is a bouquet of orange blossom, peach blossom, tiare flower and lily of the valley, sunny, creamy and dewy in turn. The base is cedar and amberwood, dry and warm, with musk giving a soft, clean finish.

It is marketed as feminine and is a summer scent by nature, best on hot days and holidays, for someone who likes white flowers with salt and sun around them.
