Citruses open it with a bright, zesty freshness. Cypress is the heart, green and resinous, the smell of evergreen needles and dry air. Vetiver is the base, earthy and slightly smoky, giving the scent its length. With so few ingredients the development is a gradual shift in balance rather than a change of character: the citrus thins out, the cypress remains for a while, and the vetiver stays longest.
