The materials suggest a modern take on oud rather than a raw, animalic one. Agarwood sits with cedar and guaiac wood for a dry, slightly smoky backbone, and Cashmeran and Iso E Super soften that into something smooth and diffusive. Rose, geranium and orange blossom supply the floral side, raspberry adds a tart fruitiness, and saffron brings a leathery warmth.
