Veneno Scarlet

Veneno Scarlet by French Avenue, released in 2025, is a sweet, berry-heavy gourmand. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand; about half also find it woody, and a minority spicy or leathery.

Raspberry, blackberry and strawberry open it with a jammy, red-fruit sweetness, and cinnamon adds a warm, spiced edge that stops it reading as pure fruit syrup. There is no floral heart to speak of; the scent moves from fruit into caramel, which thickens the sweetness, while fir adds an unexpected cool, resinous, slightly green note in the middle.
