Mandarin orange and bergamot give a bright citrus lift, joined by white peach, peach, apple and pear for a juicy, orchard-fruit sweetness. Freesia and rose add a light, fresh floral touch. The heart of the scent is pastry: macarons bring an almondy, sugary note, caramel a golden sweetness, and cream and whipped cream a fluffy richness. The base is vanilla absolute and vanilla with tonka bean, warm and rounded, given a light woody frame by cedar.
As the name suggests, this is a midday vanilla, sweet but bright. It is shared and suits anyone, and it works across the year, from lunch dates to weekends, for people who like fruity, dessert-like vanillas.
