The notes are listed together. Bergamot and petitgrain, the bitter, leafy side of the orange tree, open things on a green note. Tunisian neroli is the centre, bright and clean, but it is not left pure: geranium adds a sharp, rosy greenness, iris a cool powder, and animal notes with leather give it a warm, slightly dirty undertone that is the point of the name. Oakmoss brings a dry, bitter, forest-floor depth, and labdanum with benzoin closes it with a sweet, balsamic warmth.
