Neroli Sauvage is a citrus cologne from the French house Creed, released in 1994 and composed by Olivier Creed. Citrus is what everyone smells; about a third also notice a floral or ambery side.

Grapefruit and bergamot open it, sharp, bright and a little bitter. The heart is neroli, the fresh, green-tinged flower of the bitter orange tree, with verbena adding a lemony, herbal lift. The only base note is ambergris, which gives a soft, salty warmth as the citrus fades.

As with many citrus scents, it does not last all day: most wearers report moderate or weak longevity, and more than half describe the projection as intimate, close to the skin. Summer leads the season votes, with spring second, and it is worn mainly by day. It is a clean, understated choice for warm days and anyone who likes neroli, with reapplication expected.
