Pear ice cream is the first note, soft, cold and milky-sweet rather than crisp, with bergamot adding a brief citrus brightness so it does not start too heavy. The heart is jasmine sambac and magnolia: the jasmine brings a warm, slightly heady white-floral richness, the magnolia a cleaner, lemony petal note. The base is vanilla and tonka bean, which turn the whole thing into a smooth, custard-like finish that lingers close to the skin.
