Juniper berries and ginger open with a crisp, gin-like and zesty spice. Myrtle, the Mediterranean shrub at the heart of the composition, brings a fresh, green, slightly camphorous and herbal aroma. Osmanthus and rose add a soft floral warmth, osmanthus with its apricot-like fruitiness, and davana a fruity, slightly boozy nuance. The base settles onto cedar and patchouli, dry and earthy, with musk adding a clean softness.
As an intense take on myrtle, it evokes the scrubland of Capri and southern Italy. It suits spring and summer, day and early evening, and should appeal to anyone who enjoys herbal, aromatic woods with a soft floral heart and Mediterranean character.
