L'Invisible qui Luit by the French house Caron is a woody, floral citrus worn by anyone, released in 2022. Everyone who has described it calls it woody, floral and citrusy, and about half also find it green.
The notes are few and listed together. Lemon, bergamot and petitgrain give a bright, slightly bitter, leafy citrus opening; neroli and orange blossom form the floral heart, the neroli fresh and green, the orange blossom warmer and more honeyed; and Haitian vetiver with vetiver provides the base, a dry, grassy, slightly smoky woodiness that gives the scent its structure. All the notes come from the orange tree or from grass roots, which keeps the composition coherent and clean.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. A neroli and vetiver composition of this kind suits spring and summer and daytime wear, and would appeal to anyone who likes elegant, unsweetened citrus scents with a dry finish. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
