Mandarin, orange and pineapple give a bright, juicy, sunny opening, sweet and zesty. Clove adds a warm, slightly medicinal spice, and lavender a clean herbal note. Jasmine brings a soft floral touch to the heart. The base is warm and resinous: labdanum gives a dark, sticky, amber-like depth, guaiac wood a smoky woodiness, and vanilla a creamy sweetness that ties it together.
It suits autumn and spring, evenings out, casual occasions and weekends, and its bright citrus top makes it workable on milder days too. It should appeal to someone who likes fruity, sweet masculine scents with a spiced, resinous base, approachable and outgoing in character rather than dry or austere, a crowd-pleasing kind of scent.
