Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli, released by Bvlgari in 2019 and composed by Alberto Morillas, is presented as masculine and is equally woody, floral and ambery, with musky, leathery and citrus sides in support.

The top notes are bright and fresh: bergamot gives a clean citrus lift, and neroli a green, slightly soapy and luminous orange-blossom note, the heart of the scent. In the heart, orange blossom adds a honeyed floral sweetness, Virginia cedar a dry woodiness and cypriol, also called nagarmotha, an earthy, smoky depth. The base is smooth and warm: leather gives a soft, slightly smoky edge, ambergris a salty-skin warmth, amber a golden glow and white musk a clean finish.

Most wearers report moderate longevity, and the large majority describe its sillage as moderate. It is voted mainly for summer and spring, and largely as a daytime scent. It suits the office, warm days and smart-casual occasions, for someone who likes neroli and orange blossom over clean woods and a soft leathery musk, and who wants a fresh but refined scent.
