Amazonas Avalanche by Atralia, released in 2023 and worn by anyone, is a woody aromatic with a dark cocoa twist. Woody is the description everyone gives; about two thirds also call it herbal, and a third find it sweet, floral, leathery or citrusy.
Bergamot opens it with a brief citrus brightness. Lavender and sage then bring a clean, herbal, slightly camphorous freshness. Cocoa and cacao pod are the surprise in the heart, bitter rather than sugary, like dark chocolate, and orris root adds a cool, powdery smoothness. Leather gives a supple darkness, while cedar, vetiver and patchouli settle the scent into a dry, earthy base.
Wearers have not yet reported on longevity or projection. By character it belongs to autumn and winter, evenings and cooler days, and suits anyone who likes aromatic woods with a dark, bitter edge. It is sold in a large bottle.
