The opening is sharp and fresh: bergamot and finger lime bring zest, violet leaf adds a cut-grass greenness and pink pepper a light prickle. Clary sage keeps the heart herbal and slightly dry, with white flowers softening the edges. The base is where the woody character settles in, with patchouli and vetiver giving earth and smoke, akigalawood a peppery, oud-like depth, elemi a lemony resin and musk a clean, skin-like finish.
