The opening is brisk and airy: bergamot gives citrus, mint and lavender a cool herbal lift, artemisia and caraway a green, slightly savoury spice, and sea notes and aldehydes a clean, marine sparkle. The heart is green and aromatic, with pine tree and juniper berries bringing a resinous, gin-like freshness, bay leaf and coriander a herbal spice, watermelon a cool, watery sweetness and geranium and jasmine a light floral touch. The base is warm and classic, with oakmoss, cedar, sandalwood and patchouli giving earthy wood, and leather, amber and musk a smooth finish.
