Lemon and orange open with a bright, clean citrus freshness, while tarragon, bay leaf and laurels add a green, herbal, slightly anise-like and spicy character. Jasmine softens the middle with a light floral touch. The base centres on cedar, dry and pencil-like as the name suggests, with guaiac wood adding a smoky, slightly leathery woodiness, patchouli an earthy depth and musk a clean, smooth finish.
