Tysir is a fruity, sweet fragrance from Al Ambra, composed by Abdul Rahiman Mugarithottam and released in 2014 as a masculine scent. Gourmand is the word everyone uses for it; about a quarter also find it musky, floral, ambery, leathery or citrusy.

Pineapple, apple and blackcurrant give the opening a bright, juicy, slightly tart fruitiness, with bergamot adding a clean citrus edge and juniper berries a dry, gin-like bite. Jasmine brings a warm floral softness in the middle. Birch adds a smoky, tarry, leather-like note that gives the sweetness some grit, and patchouli and oakmoss a dark, earthy, slightly damp depth. Vanilla rounds the base with a creamy sweetness, and ambergris and musk give it a warm, salty, skin-like finish.

The combination of bright fruit over a smoky, mossy base suits cooler weather and evenings, and it should appeal to someone who likes sweet fruity scents with a darker, more serious drydown.
