Grapefruit, lemon and bergamot open it with a zesty, juicy brightness, while pepper adds a dry spice and sage an herbal note. The heart brings a floral blend: rose and geranium give a rosy, slightly green tone, jasmine a smooth bloom and violet a soft powderiness. Mastic, a resin from the lentisk shrub, adds a fresh, slightly balsamic and pine-like note, and arbutus, from the strawberry tree, a fruity sweetness. The base combines rock rose, oak, cedar and seaweed, bringing a resinous, woody and slightly salty, marine depth.
It suits spring and summer, daytime and seaside holidays, and will appeal to someone who likes fresh, aromatic and floral Mediterranean scents.
