The opening is intensely green: galbanum gives a bitter, leafy, sap-like resin, nettle a fresh, slightly prickly herbal note, ivy a cool, dark leafiness and banana leaf a watery, green softness. Angelica adds an earthy, musky herbal tone, and neroli a light, fresh floral touch. The base is resinous and gently smoky, with mastic and elemi giving a fresh, piney, lemony resin, gurjun balsam a soft, woody sweetness and a smoke note a dry, lingering haze.
Unisex in spirit, it suits people who love uncompromisingly green fragrances. The name means club water, and the profile points to spring and summer, daytime and nights out alike. Those who enjoy galbanum-heavy greens with a smoky resin base should find it bracing and original.
