Leonis I

Leonis I, from Tiziana Terenzi and composed by Paolo Terenzi in 2024, is mainly woody, with a lot of spice, a resinous layer and smaller gourmand, amber and citrus tones.

Orange gives a short, juicy opening, while black pepper, nutmeg and saffron bring warm, dry heat. Davana, a herb with a fruity, slightly boozy facet, adds an unusual twist. The base is rich with resins and woods: frankincense and myrrh bring smoky, balsamic depth, Bourbon vanilla adds sweetness, and sandalwood and Cambodian oud form a dense, smoky and creamy wooden structure that carries the scent well into its drydown.
