Bulgarian rose and jasmine sambac form the floral core: one fresh and velvety, the other rich and slightly fruity. African marigold brings an unusual green, almost herbal bitterness, and clary sage adds aromatic, calming freshness. Saffron gives a warm, leathery spice. The base is darker and more earthy: Haitian vetiver adds a dry, rooty edge, cypriol a smoky, earthy woodiness and oakmoss a damp, forest-floor depth, while incense lends a resinous, smoky warmth to the finish.
