The opening is all pepper: black and pink pepper give a dry, sparkling and rosy heat, green pepper a fresher, sharper spice, and green bell pepper a vivid, vegetal, crunchy greenness that is the scent's most unusual feature. Rose softens the heart with a velvety floral note. The base is darker, with agarwood adding a resinous, smoky woodiness and birch a tar-like, leathery smoke, while vanilla, ambergris and musk give a smooth, gently sweet, skin-like finish.
