Souffle Ambré is a woody amber from the French house Reminiscence, released in 2024 and worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, most find it spicy and musky, and a third notice flowers, resin and amber.
The notes are listed without stages. Clove gives the opening a warm, slightly medicinal spice, and geranium adds a rosy, green, faintly minty counterpoint. The heart is wood: cedar for a dry, pencil-shaving crispness and sandalwood for creamy smoothness. Beneath that, benzoin and amber bring a resinous, vanilla-tinged warmth, vanilla itself adds sweetness, and patchouli with white musk closes the composition on an earthy, soft, skin-like note.
