Endymion is a 2003 fragrance from Penhaligon's, marketed for men and credited to Fragrance Resources. Spice, woods, aromatic herbs and citrus are all strong, with a touch of sweetness and a floral side.

The opening is a classic fresh start: sage and lavender give a clean, barbershop herbal note, while mandarin orange and bergamot add citrus brightness. In the heart, coffee brings a warm, roasted richness and geranium a rosy, slightly minty lift. The base is spicy and woody, with cardamom, nutmeg and black pepper for warmth, sandalwood and vetiver for smooth and earthy woods, incense for a hint of smoke, and leather and musk for a soft finish.

Wearers mostly find it moderate in longevity, some say weak, and the sillage moderate to close. It is voted for autumn and spring, mostly for daytime. It suits office wear and smart casual days, and anyone who likes a refined, gentle lavender and coffee scent that never shouts.
