The spice is vivid: cloves bring a dark, warming bite, chili pepper a hot, peppery tingle, and saffron a leathery, honeyed richness. Rose and jasmine form a lush floral centre, while peach sweetens the blend with a soft, almost syrupy fruitiness. The base is built on agarwood, or oud, deep, smoky and resinous, supported by the creamy smoothness of sandalwood and the balsamic warmth of gurjun balsam.
This is a dense, dramatic scent in which spice, flowers and smoky wood all compete for attention. It suits cold weather, evenings and special occasions, and will appeal to anyone who likes spice, roses and smoky woods in a bold combination.
