Korrigan is a boozy, woody scent with leather and musk at its core, like a glass of something aged in a wood-panelled room. Thomas Fontaine composed it for Lubin in 2012, and it is worn by anyone. Woody is how everyone describes it, musky for about two in three, with spice, herbs and leather noticed by a third.

Cognac and juniper berries open it, warm and gin-like at once, with saffron adding a dry, slightly leathery heat. The heart continues the theme with whiskey, smoky and sweet, softened by lavender's clean herbal note and ambrette, a plant musk that smells faintly of pear skin and warm skin. The base is dry and deep: leather, agarwood, cedar and vetiver give it structure and smoke, while musk rounds the edges.

Reports on longevity are split between long lasting and moderate; projection is moderate for about half and intimate for a third. Winter and autumn take most of the season votes, and night leads day, which suits it to cold evenings, dinners and anyone who enjoys a spirits-and-leather style.
