Desert Vetiver by Lova, released in 2025 and composed by Shadi Samra, is a dry, spicy woody scent with vetiver at the centre. Everyone who describes it calls it woody; about half also find it spicy, and a minority notice resinous, citrus, floral or aromatic sides.
Grapefruit and bergamot give a bright, slightly bitter opening, with ginger and pink pepper adding a sharp, warming spice and lavender a brief herbal note. Geranium brings a green, rosy touch through the middle. Vetiver is the backbone, dry, rooty and faintly smoky, supported by cedar and sandalwood for structure and cashmere wood for a soft, velvety smoothness. Nutmeg, leather and benzoin add warmth and a resinous sweetness to the drydown.
Desert Vetiver is worn by anyone. Its dry character suits spring and autumn and daytime wear, and it will appeal to someone who likes vetiver scents with spice and a little polish.
