Lemon, lemon peel and bergamot give a sharp, bright opening, quickly met by black pepper, white pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg, which add a dry heat and a sweet, warm spice. Elemi resin brings a fresh, lemony, peppery lift. In the heart, Damask rose adds a velvety floral tone. The base is dark and deep: incense gives a dry, smoky haze, agarwood a resinous woodiness, patchouli and cedar earthy and dry woods, and vanilla, ambergris and musk a warm, smooth finish.
