FeHom from the French house Hayari Parfums, released in 2015, is a balanced scent that people describe as spicy, green, woody, floral, warm with amber and citrusy in equal measure, which points to a composition where each facet has its moment.
Juniper berries, bergamot and cardamom open it cool, bright and aromatic, with a gin-like dryness. The heart is Grasse rose and freesia, a soft, slightly peppery floral pairing, grounded by sandalwood for a creamy wood. The base is amber, vanilla and benzoin: warm, sweet and resinous, with the benzoin adding a balsamic depth that lasts.
It is worn by anyone and has a versatile character, fresh enough for daytime, warm enough for the evening, across most of the year, for someone who likes juniper and rose that settle into amber and vanilla.
