Armani Code for Women, released by the Italian house Giorgio Armani in 2006 and composed by Dominique Ropion, Olivier Polge and Carlos Benaïm, is a floral fragrance with strong sweet and citrus sides and lighter spicy and woody touches.

Italian orange and bitter orange open with a juicy, slightly bitter citrus brightness, joined by jasmine for creamy warmth. The heart centres on orange blossom, sunny and slightly honeyed, with ginger adding a gentle spice and jasmine continuing the white-floral theme. The base is warm and smooth: honey brings a golden sweetness, vanilla a creamy softness and sandalwood a milky woodiness.

Most wearers find it moderate in longevity, with about a third reporting long-lasting wear, and sillage mostly moderate. It is voted for autumn and winter and largely for evenings, suggesting dinners, dates and dressier nights out. It should appeal to anyone who loves orange blossom and jasmine with honey and vanilla.
