Pear gives a soft, juicy, slightly green opening, with neroli adding a bright, slightly bitter orange-blossom note. The heart is a luminous white-floral bouquet: Egyptian jasmine and jasmine bring a creamy, radiant sweetness, and orange blossom a honeyed brightness. Orris root adds a cool, buttery powder. The base is soft and smooth, with vanilla for a gentle sweetness, ambroxan for a warm, mineral-amber glow and musk for a clean, skin-close finish.
Orchid is shared and can be worn by anyone. It suits spring and summer, daytime, the office and evenings out, and should appeal to people who like bright jasmine and orange blossom softened by powdery iris and a light vanilla base.
