Despite its name, Wood for Her from DSQUARED², released in 2018, is first a floral scent, with woods as its second layer and lighter green, ambery and citrus touches.

The opening is fresh and bright: lily of the valley and magnolia bring clean white petals, mandarin a juicy citrus lift and raspberry leaf a tart green edge. The heart warms a little with osmanthus, which smells of apricot and soft leather, and jasmine, adding a gentle floral glow. The base is light and modern, with ambroxan giving a clean, mineral, slightly salty warmth over white woods and cedar.
