Mojave Ghost Hair Perfume, the 2016 hair version of the Byredo scent, is equally woody and floral, with musky and amber sides in support.

The composition evokes desert flowers. Sapodilla, a tropical fruit, brings a soft, slightly sweet and pear-like fruitiness at the start. Magnolia adds a creamy, lemony floral note, and violet a gentle, powdery sweetness. Ambrette, a plant-based musk with a soft, pear-like side, gives a clean, skin-like warmth. The base is smooth and dry: sandalwood brings a creamy woodiness, cedar a clean structure and ambergris a warm, slightly salty glow.

Hair perfumes are made to be sprayed onto the hair, where they tend to give a gentle trail as you move. The profile suggests spring and autumn, daytime and the office, as well as quiet evenings. It is meant to be worn by anyone who likes soft, airy florals over creamy woods and musk, and who prefers a subtle, refined scent to something loud.
