Mandarin orange and pepper give a bright, lively opening, and saffron and nutmeg a warm spice. Lavender, sage and violet leaf bring a clean, herbal, green freshness, and hay a dry, sweet, sun-dried note. The heart is floral and powdery, with Damask rose, rose, osmanthus and iris giving a velvety, apricot-like and buttery bloom. The base is green and woody, with cypress, balsam fir and fir for a resinous, forest-like note, oakmoss and moss for earthy depth, and patchouli, amber and musk for warmth.
