Primero Marocaine by ArteOlfatto, from 2021, is a woody fragrance with spice close behind and lighter sweet, musky, amber and leather touches. Tobacco and saffron give it a warm, exotic, spiced character.

Cinnamon, nutmeg and saffron bring a warm, sweet, slightly leathery spice. Tobacco adds a dry, leafy sweetness, while leather lends a supple, smoky dryness. Patchouli gives an earthy depth. In the base, cedar, sandalwood and vetiver provide a dry, creamy, earthy woodiness, softened by vanilla and tonka bean.

Worn by anyone, it suits autumn and winter, evenings and occasions where a rich, spiced scent feels right. It has been warmly received. Those who enjoy tobacco and spice over a woody base will find it a cosy, characterful choice for cold nights and dinners.
