Aer

Aer is a bright, aromatic woody citrus, released by the Italian house of perfumer Angela Ciampagna in 2015. It is worn by anyone.

Mint, grapefruit and lemon open it with a cool, sharp, almost icy freshness, the mint giving it an unusual clarity. Juniper berries sit in the heart, dry, resinous and gin-like, bridging the citrus and the woods. The base is earthy and resinous: vetiver gives a dry, grassy woodiness, patchouli an earthy depth, and elemi a lemony, slightly peppery resin that keeps the freshness alive into the drydown.

It is a warm-weather scent, suited to spring and summer days and to anyone who likes crisp, herbal woods rather than sweet or heavy compositions. The mint and juniper give it a distinctly clean, outdoorsy character.
