The scent is built around caramel and honey, thick and golden, with vanilla and coumarin adding a soft, hay-like, almond-tinged sweetness that recalls the cream layer of the dessert. Whiskey gives it a warm, boozy edge, slightly smoky and oaky, which keeps the sugar from becoming one-dimensional. Woody notes and musk sit underneath, drying it out a little and helping it settle into something smoother and more wearable than a pure confectionery scent.
It is a cosy, indulgent fragrance that makes most sense in cold weather and in the evening, for someone who enjoys sweet, boozy gourmands and does not mind being noticed for it.
