The start is bright and a little odd in a good way: bergamot and elemi resin for a lemony, peppery freshness, artemisia for a bitter, herbal green note, and white wine for a crisp, slightly fruity acidity. The heart is spiced and powdery, with cardamom and cinnamon for warmth, iris for a cool, dusty elegance and carnation for a clove-like floral bite. The base is where the amber lives: honey, thick and golden, over incense, amber and woodsy notes, so it ends sweet, smoky and resinous.
Most wearers report long lasting performance, with a fifth calling it eternal, and a moderate to strong trail. It is voted mainly for autumn and winter and splits evenly between day and night. It suits someone who likes rich ambers with a twist.
