Lily of the valley gives a light, clean floral touch that keeps the opening from feeling dense. The core is resinous and warm: labdanum brings a deep, honeyed, slightly leathery amber, while gurjun and tolu balsams add a soft, balmy sweetness with a hint of wood. Laotian oud gives a dry, smoky darkness underneath. Vanilla, tonka bean, amber and musk round the base into a smooth, cosy glow.
