Calabrian bergamot and lemon open it with a bright, clean, slightly bitter citrus. The heart is a full white-and-pink bouquet: Bulgarian rose brings a rich, honeyed rosiness, Chinese jasmine a warm, creamy depth, magnolia a lemony, petal-like freshness, and lily of the valley and black locust a dewy, green, faintly sweet lift. The base is where the woody side gathers, with ebony and teak wood giving a dark, dense, slightly smoky dryness, patchouli an earthy edge, and vanilla, ambergris and musk adding a warm, salty, skin-like sweetness that lasts.
It is a scent for evenings and milder weather, worn by anyone who likes generous floral bouquets set on dark, serious woods.
