African geranium and geranium open it, green, rosy and slightly minty, with saffron adding a dry, leathery spice. The heart is rose and jasmine sambac, the rose warm and slightly jammy, the jasmine creamy and heady, and together they form a lush bouquet set against Indian oud, which brings a deep, resinous, faintly animalic wood. Leather adds a smooth, smoky richness, and oakmoss and patchouli a damp, bitter, earthy depth. The base is benzoin and Siam benzoin, soft and vanilla-like, with ambergris and musk adding a warm, salty, skin-like finish.
It is a cold-weather, evening scent, worn by anyone who likes rose and jasmine darkened with oud, leather and moss.
