Pepper and cardamom open it with a dry, aromatic spice, cardamom bringing a cool, green note. Elemi adds a fresh, lemony resin. The core is sandalwood, creamy and smooth, set against cedar, which gives a dry, pencil-like woodiness, and papyrus, which brings a slightly smoky, earthy, reedy note.
