Babe Oud

Babe Oud is a spicy, fruity woody scent from the British brand Missguided, released in 2018, composed by Celia Orozco Cirimbilli and marketed for women. Woody is how everyone describes it, most also find it spicy and floral, and about half notice citrus, with sweetness and amber mentioned by smaller groups.

Bergamot, lemon and orange open it with a bright, juicy citrus, and red fruits add a tart, jammy sweetness, with black pepper and pink pepper giving a sharp and a rosier heat. The heart is rose, jasmine and neroli, warm, creamy and slightly soapy, with geranium adding a green, rosy edge and saffron a dry, leathery spice. The base is where the oud sits: agarwood for a dark, resinous wood, cedar and cashmere wood for dry and soft woods, patchouli and vetiver for earth and smoke, and tonka bean and amber for a sweet, warm finish.
