Grapefruit opens it bright and slightly bitter, with cardamom adding a cool, aromatic spice. Sea water, sea notes and salt give it a clean, briny, open-air freshness that runs through the heart, where apple blossom and geranium add a light, green floral tone. The base turns woody and warm with balsam fir, resinous and faintly sweet, and tonka bean for a smooth, soft finish.
It is marketed as masculine and has the character of a clean, modern daytime scent, suited to warm weather, sport and the office, for someone who likes salty freshness with a soft woody landing rather than a sweet one.
