Bergamot and petitgrain open it, the bergamot bright and slightly bitter, the petitgrain green and leafy like crushed orange twigs, so the start is clean, zesty and a little herbal, which is where the green and citrus impressions come from. Orange blossom is the heart, honeyed, slightly soapy and sunny, the one floral element and the thing that softens the citrus. The base is vanilla, musk and dry woody notes, the vanilla adding a gentle, creamy sweetness that explains the gourmand description, the woods a clean structure, and the musk a soft, skin-like finish.
It is an easy daytime scent for warm weather and casual wear, for men who like a straightforward citrus-and-vanilla style without complication.
