Mandarin orange and bergamot open it with a juicy, sunny citrus, sharpened by pink pepper with its rosy, lightly peppery edge. The heart is clean and spring-like: lily of the valley brings a dewy, green freshness, peony a soft, slightly watery rosiness, and orange blossom a sweeter, honeyed white-flower warmth. Underneath, sandalwood adds a smooth, creamy wood, patchouli an earthy depth, and ambroxan a dry, mineral, slightly salty warmth that gives the base lift and staying power, with vanilla and musk softening the finish.
It works well in daytime and in the warmer months, for anyone who likes fresh florals with a modern, slightly ambery base.
