Pear, bergamot and a sorbet note open it, cool and juicy, almost icy. Damask rose then takes the heart, warm and honeyed, and praline arrives with a nutty, caramelised sweetness that defines the gourmand character. The base is darker than the opening suggests: agarwood (oud) adds a smoky, resinous wood, leather a smooth animal depth, patchouli an earthy richness, and vanilla and musk soften the finish.
It is a rose-and-praline scent with a leathery, woody shadow, best in cooler months and in the evening. Anyone who likes sweet fragrances but wants them with a bit of edge should find it interesting.
